Hi, my name is Dori Hagen. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alaska and Montana. I consider it an honor to come alongside those who are struggling along life's journey, feeling stuck, lost and afraid, or simply overwhelmed with the circumstances of life.
I offer counseling for individuals ages 16 and above, as well as couples. I am experienced helping people work through a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, addiction, grief, trauma, communication challenges, and issues of faith.
I also have a passion to walk alongside pastor's and missionaries with various challenges life in ministry can present. I am an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) provider. Telehealth also provided.
I bring with me competent skills and experience in the field of professional counseling, with emphasis on trauma informed care, providing individual and couples counseling within a bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework.

Absolutely. If you are working through things and not sure what the next best step is for you, I would LOVE to help.
It really depends. Most co-pays for those I see ends up being around $30-$40 a session after the client has hit their deductible. If you have one of the insurance providers listed above, I bill them directly and you pay the difference. For any other insurance providers, you provide a claim and they cover whatever is consistent with your current policy. For specific information, give me a call!
Depends on your situation. My waitlist is typically 2-4 weeks out before your first session. Although my schedule is very full, I do my best to make time for those in crisis afterhours whenver possible. If you have recently experienced a traumatic event it may be sooner.
